Kananaskis hosts Bear Days

K-Country will play host to Bear Days.
The province and Friends of Kananaskis Country will host info sessions about the animals in Peter Lougheed, Bow Valley and Mount Kidd Parks from July 20th through the 24th.
Topics will include how grizzlies live in the Rockies, the trapping and monitoring of grizzlies and how to avoid bears.
Visitors will also be asked to help bears with a weed pulling event and removing shrubs that attract the bruins to campgrounds and day-use areas.
