Perimeter Park now open

The first phase of Calgary’s recreation ring road is now open.
The 13 kilometre stretch of the greenway runs from Airport Trail to 17th Avenue S.E.
By the time the entire path system opens it will stretch over 113 kilometres.
Mayor Naheed Nenshi says he lives near one part of the greenway and plans to use it on a regular basis.
The entire project is due for completion in 2014.
