Man pinned at C-Train platform

Emergency services responded to a call just after 11:30 Saturday night, after a man was pinned between a C-train car and the Lion’s Gate platform.
As the train approached the platform, the male was observed to be jumping off the benches before he approached and was pushed off of the train. At this point, it appears he lost his balance and his leg became lodged between the platform and the train.
Fire crews used pneumatic bladders to move the car the few centimetres needed to free the the 24-year old.
He was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and is now listed in serious, but stable condition.
Calgary police believe alcohol was a factor.
