Pit in southwest community likely to be filled

The massive pit in the heart of Mission might finally be filled.
Strategic Group, which owns the site at 4th Street and 21st Avenue Southwest has been handed a permit to finish the job that was started about ten years ago.
The Calgary Herald reports the plan is to build a six-storey building, but there’s no timeline for the construction to resume.
Strategic is still looking for tenants and even though previous reports indicated they might be interested, the Kerby Centre for seniors won’t be relocating to the building.
