New voice for the Flames

Calgary Flames broadcasts on Rogers Sportsnet TV will have a new voice.

The long-time host of Flames Hockey on Sportsnet radio the Fan 960, Rob Kerr, has been given the play-by-play job.

Kerr says it’s a dream come true.

The 41-year-old grew up in Edmonton, and has spent the past eight years working on the Fan 960.

Kerr replaces Peter Loubardias.
