Summer highway construction is beginning to hit the midway point.
From the Calf Robe Bridge to Stoney Trail Northwest, projects are in full swing across the city.
So far most are on schedule, but Trent Bancarz with Alberta Transportation tells 660News it’s been a challenge because of wetter than expected weather.
He says things might not be moving as fast as Calgarians would hope, but contracts are constructed in such a way that allow for a certain number of bad weather days.
A note for drivers who use Stoney Trail in the North-West; watch out for paving on large stretches of the route starting later this summer.
