Latin flavour in Kensington

Thousands filled Calgary’s “Village in the City” for the 18th annual Sun and Salsa Festival.
The weather was perfect in Kensington, as businesses serve up more than 500 gallons of 40 different salsas.
Seven live entertainment stages are spreading some Latin flavour through the neighbourhood.
The streets are filled with vendors and artisans selling a variety of products and kids enjoyed a special carnival zone.
Both Kensington Road and 10th Street Northwest were closed.
The party took place Sunday afternoon between 11am and 5pm.
