An 80 KM stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway between Lake Louis and Golden has re-opened, after it was closed Friday because of a mudslide.
Parks Canada says debris has been removed.
In some places, the slide was said to be six-metres deep.
The opening comes sooner than expected. At one point, officials predicted the highway would remain closed until Monday.
