Man charged with trafficking in Strathmore

Strathmore RCMP have charged 20-year-old Christopher Prowse with trafficking a controlled substance.  

The RCMP say a 19-year-old man consumed a large quantity of PSILOCYBIN or “magic mushrooms”, alledgedly sold to him by Prowse.

RCMP and EMS showed up at a house in Strathmore on July 1st after receiving a call of an unconscious man suffering from a possible drug overdose.  

The 19-year-old was taken to the Foothills hospital by STARS Air Ambulance and was released the following day.  
    
Prowse is scheduled to appear in Strathmore Provincial Court in September.
