Three escape early morning fire in southeast

Two kids and an adult managed to escape from an early-morning blaze in their mobile home Wednesday.
The fire department was called around 3:30 a.m. to the 6700 block of 17th Avenue S.E.
They were able to confine the flames to the kitchen, but the entire unit suffered smoke damage.
There’s no word on a cause.
