Sunny forecast for long weekend

The exodus out of the city for the long weekend will begin Thursday for many.

660News Meteorologist David Spence says whether plans include camping, taking a quick trip to the lake or staying home, the weather will be delightful this weekend.

Hot weather is moving across the Prairies; in Calgary and western Alberta, the weather will move into the mid-20’s throughout most of the long weekend.

It could get very hot to the east, especially southern Saskatchewan where temperatures could approach 35 degrees.

British Columbia will be cooler and could see showers moving through the interior on Sunday.
