Four charged in connection to Lethbridge kidnapping

Four men are facing charges and will be in court Friday in connection to a brutal kidnapping earlier this week in Lethbridge.
Regional police believe the suspects wore masks and burst into a local home along the 200 block of Coulee Creek Manor South, forcing the 20-year old resident into a waiting car.
From there, the victim was taken to a remote location where he was beaten for over five hours.
He was then dropped off near the outskirts of Coaldale and found walking later by a Good Samaritan, who stopped to help.
The man was then taken to Chinook Regional Hospital to be treated for serious, non-life threatening injuries.
“This is a drug related crime where the victim was specifically targeted,” says Acting Inspector Wes Houston of the Criminal Investigation Division.
22-year old John Reynolds of Turin, as well as 28-year old Adrien Theriault, 35-year old Charles Morrison-Lonie and 20-year old Kory Bourassa all of Lethbridge are facing several charges that include kidnapping with a firearm and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
