Sparks fly in PC leadership contest

The sparks are starting to fly in the Progressive Conservative leadership race.
Gary Mar is accusing former justice minister Alison Redford of being soft on crime, pointing to the out of control murder rate in Edmonton as evidence the Tories dropped the ball.
Redford is not happy with Mar’s comments, saying they are simplistic and inappropriate.
But while the fists are flying, there is some common ground between the two. Both candidates agree the government was wrong to implement a $15 dollar fee each time a officer has to look up information in issuing speeding tickets.
