Police search for shooting suspects

Calgary Police are looking to the public for help in identifying two people in connection to a shooting on Tuesday that sent a 33-year-old man to hospital.
The victim stumbled into the Peter Lougheed hospital around 3 p.m. with a gunshot wound to his lower torso.
Police think the man was shot in the parking lot of a restaurant near Barlow Trail and 32nd Avenue N.E.
It’s believe the victim showed up at the location to meet a woman he’d met online, but was threatened with a weapon when he got into the back of her car.
Police say the 33-year-old was confronted by a man in the back on of the vehicle, who demanded cash, and shot him during the confrontation.
Investigators believe the shooter then left the vehicle and tried to leave the area on foot. They also think a witness to the incident may have attempted to chase the shooter.
The female who was behind the wheel at the time of the shooting drove the injured man to a nearby hospital and dropped him off.
Investigators are still searching for the shooter, the female driver and the possible witness.
Police describe the shooter as a black man in his mid-20s, with a medium build, wearing a white skullcap or do-rag.
The female is described by police as Caucasian, in her mid-20s, with brown, curly, shoulder-length hair. Her vehicle was a green-coloured sport utility vehicle, possibly a four-door Jeep.
