Scuba diving fatality near Jasper

An Alberta man is dead after a scuba diving lesson Sunday morning near Jasper.
The Edmonton Journal reports the 20-year-old is presumed to have drowned in Lac Beauvert during an open-water diving certification with Edmonton-based Northwest Scuba.
Mounties have not released the victim’s name, and are still investigating the cause of death.
