Afrikadey! celebrates its 20th anniversary

The theme for this year’s Afrikadey! was Rhythm of Change and Calgarians were invited to experience it one last time Saturday.

The week-long event is one of Calgary’s most popular musical festivals in the last 20 years.

Event-goer Connie tells 660News, she’s open to the cultural opportunity in the middle of the city, was looking for a new experience and has always enjoyed African culture.

Afrikadey! featured final Saturday night performances at Prince’s Island Park downtown.
