Food recall in Edmonton

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume Beverly Meats ready-to-eat smoked garlic sausage sold in Edmonton, because it may be contaminated with listeria.
All of the product sold at 4018 – 118th Avenue in Edmonton on, or after August 4th, is affected.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
Food contaminated with listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled.
Listeriosis can cause high fever, severe headache, neck stiffness and nausea.
Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
