Ted Henley is Going Back on TV

The co-host of the 660 News Morning Show is moving on to Citytv’s Breakfast Television starting September 6th.

After 5-years on 660 News, Ted Henley will anchor his final radio show on Friday.

He’ll be co-hosting Breakfast Television with Tara Slone weekdays from 6:00-9:00am on Citytv.

“Ted’s extensive news experience and calm demeanour in the face of ‘breaking news’ will be missed,” said 660 News Director Audrey Whelan.

Ted is an award winning journalist who actually began his career on TV.

Ted joined 660 News in August 2006 and was quickly teamed-up with Lynda Parcells on the Morning Show.

“I’ve learned an incredible amount from my colleagues at 660 News,” said Ted.  “Now, I can’t wait to learn more from the crew at BT!”

Ted is one of the most popular broadcasters in the city because of his experience and extensive charity work – which earned Ted a Calgary White Hat award in 2005.

Replacing Ted is Doug Reynolds – a 32-year veteran of the “news biz” in Canada.

Doug is the current Morning Show anchor on News 95.7 in Halifax – a sister radio station of 660 News.

Doug starts in late September.
