House fires in Leduc ruled arson

Investigators have confirmed that arson was behind a fire that destroyed or damaged six homes in Leduc.
No one was injured when the blaze burned four homes to the ground overnight Sunday.
Police say samples have been obtained from the home where the fire began and will be analyzed by the RCMP forensics lab.
no motive has been identified.
RCMP are continuing to work with fire and insurance investigators to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
Emergency crews who were first on the scene said four homes were already engulfed in flames when they arrived and the fire was too big to stop.
