Red Deer crack pipes

An organization out of Red Deer will still be giving out crack pipes, regardless of the recent Alberta Health Services ban on the practice.
The executive director of the Central Alberta Aids Network Society tells The Calgary Herald the organization is seeking to protect drug users by mitigating the risk of contracting HIV and Hepatitis C.
The group has been handing out free crack pipes since 2009.
