Falling concrete causes work stoppage on Calf Robe bridge

Inspectors have been brought in after reports of concrete chips falling from the Calf Robe bridge construction project into the Bow River this morning.

Duty Inspector Paul Stacey tells 660 news, rafters on the Bow called it in and emergency crews responded.

The work site is closed down while the investigation continues.

Only minor delays have been reported on the Deerfoot as a result.
