Albertans optimistic about being debt-free

A new poll shows Albertans are optimistic about their future finances.
The Harris-Decima survey found most Albertans currently holding debt feel they will be debt-free by age 52.
But the poll also found that just 18 per cent of Albertans between the ages of 45-64 say they’re debt-free.
The same survey shows B.C. residents felt they would be 58-years-old by the time they had paid off all of their debt; people in Ontario projected they would be 54.
The average Canadian guessed they would be debt-free by 55.
