Calgary man dead after electrocution at jobsite

An Enmax employee has died after being electrocuted in southwest Calgary Tuesday afternoon.
The utility worker was on a power pole working on power lines just after 1 p.m., when the equipment delivered a powerful shock.
EMS tells 660News co-workers lowered the man to the ground and called 9-1-1.
The Calgary man believed to be in his 20’s was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he later died.
ENMAX released a statement Tuesday night saying their sympathies go out to the family and friends of the young man involved.
They say they expect to release more information, once they know more details.
