Man dead after collision with LRT

A man is dead after a collision involving a CTrain Sunday morning.
At 6:15 a.m., police responded to reports of an incident involving a pedestrian and the LRT near the intersection of 36th Street and 32nd Avenue.
Duty Inspector Keith Cane tells 660News the northbound lanes of 36 Street will be closed from 26 Ave to 32 Avenue NE.
“Motorists travelling westbound on 32 Avenue will only have the option of proceeding northbound on 36 street, and motorists travelling eastbound on 32 Avenue will be directed south on 36 Street NE,” he says.
The investigation is expected to be finished by noon.
