Plane crash in Southern Alberta

A small plane has crashed west of Claresholm.
The single engine Piper Warrior went down in the Porcupine Hills area, just after 4:00 p.m. Monday.
Constable Dylan Rochon tells 660News, the pilot and two passengers are now in hospital.
“One of the passengers was lifted by STARS to a hospital in Calgary and the other two were brought to Claresholm hospital,” said Constable Rochon.
The plane was flying out of Lethbridge and the Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
An emergency beacon was sent from the plane by the pilot. RCMP say the aircraft was found in a wooded area, and it was hard to get to the crash scene.
