Fryers resigns as board chair at Enmax

After eight years at the helm, Cliff Fryers will be resigning as chairman of the Board of Directors at Enmax.

Effective September 15, Fryers will step down from the top job, citing personal and business reasons, and will pursue other interests.

In a release from the company, Fryers says he is proud of the company’s achievements over his time as chairman.

The board has appointed Gregory Melchin, a former Alberta minister of energy, as chairman.

Melchin joined the board in 2008 and chairs the Audit and Finance Committee.
