Calgary Police have confirmed they are investigating the city’s 4th murder of the year.
Last week, crews were called to a burning vehicle in an alley in the 200 block of 28th Avenue northwest.
A man was found near the vehicle with severe burns, and rushed to hospital where he died a day later.
The victim has been identified as 28 year-old Kenneth Law of Calgary
Before emergency crews arrived, two witnesses claim Law fell out of the burning SUV with his clothes ablaze.
An autopsy has determined his death was not an accident.
Police are now trying to piece together Law’s movements leading up to the fire.
The arson and homicide units continue to investigate.
