Canada’s youngest multiple killer is now a Calgary university freshman.
The teen, who turns 18 next month, is finishing up the final years of her 10-year sentence for three counts of first degree murder in the slaying of her mother, father and little brother in Medicine Hat five years ago.
She was only 12 at the time of the murders she helped commit with her then boyfriend, Jeremy Steinke, who’s serving life in prison.
The 17-year-old, whose identity is protected, is scheduled to appear in Medicine Hat court Wednesday where the judge will update her progress with intensive rehabilitation.
The Calgary Herald reports she’s attending Mount Royal University and must report to police and abide by curfew conditions imposed after she was granted an open custody sentence last year.
