TORONTO, Ont. – Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Brampton family who disappeared while en route to visit friends in Calgary.
Jacqeline Davis, 44, and her three children were last seen in Brampton on Aug. 27.
Police allege they left that day to drive west to Alberta, where they never arrived.
Peel Regional Police Const. Erin Cooper says they could use any tips from the public.
“No foul play is expected at this time but police obviously are concerned for their well-being due to the time that has elapsed between then and now, and would like to get the public’s assistance in contacting the family,” Cooper said.
Davis was last heard from three days later on Aug. 30, when she called a relative in Brampton to say that she had arrived in Winnipeg.
The Brampton woman and her nine-year-old daughter Fydney, seven-year-old son Jalen and five-year-old son Caleb never made it to Calgary however, according to police.
Police say Davis was driving a silver, four-door 1998 Ford Taurus with Ontario licence plates BMJH 247.
Davis is described as black, about 5’5″ tall and 145 pounds with black hair above her shoulder. She has a small scar over one of her eyes.
