The murder trial for two men accused in a 2009 triple homicide continued Tuesday.
Nathan Zuccherato and Michael Roberto are accused of gunning down known gang member Sanjeev Mann, Aaron Bendle, as well as innocent bystander Kenni Su’a.
The former girlfriend of one of the victims, Sanjeev Mann, told the court it wasn’t uncommon for her boyfriend of two and a half years to where a bulletproof vest.
He began wearing it after being shot over the Thanksgiving weekend in 2008.
Annie Tran also told the court she, her boyfriend, Sanjeev and a third man, Nam Nguyen or ‘Skinny’, used a GPS to determine which restaurant they would go to.
The jury heard conflicting testimony when Skinny took the stand and said the restaurant had already been decided on by the time he got in the car.
First responders will testify during day three of the trial.
