Calgary Chamber breakfast to highlight XL Pipeline

The Calgary Chamber of Commerce meets at 8 a.m. Wednesday and the word of the day is “energy”.

Karen Harbert, President and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy will be the guest speaker.

The discussion will focus on opportunities to strengthen U.S.-Canadian ties by taking advantage of oil derived from Canadian oil sands, starting with the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline from Alberta to Texas.
