Dome replacement delayed for Subway Soccer Centre

It’s shaping up to be a frustrating winter for thousands of indoor soccer players.
The Subway Soccer Centre’s general manager says they are still waiting for city approval to build a new structure to replace the dome that collapsed almost a year ago.
Perry Logan admits they’re plan to have the centre open by February of 2012 was optimistic, but says they will lose about $1-million in revenue due to the collapse that rendered three of the centre’s seven fields unplayable.
A city official tells The Calgary Herald a more realistic option for the new centre opening is the fall of 2012.
