Fire chiefs gather in Calgary for annual conference

Fire chiefs from all over the country are in Calgary this week for their annual Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs Conference.
The Associate Minister of National Defence spoke at the opening of the Conference Sunday night.
Julian Fantino commended firefighters as some of the most courageous and committed men and women.
According to The Calgary Herald, Association President Rob Simmonds also took time to applaud the introduction of a volunteer firefighter tax credit in the last year.
The conference wraps on Wednesday.
