Calgary Hitmen launch mobile app

The Calgary Hitmen are the first team in the WHL to launch a mobile app.

It can be used to stay updated on the latest scores, statistics, standings and schedules.

The Hitmen’s Brad Curle tells 660News, they want to ensure fans can engage with the team from almost anywhere whether at home or on the road.

Users can also talk hockey with other fans on message boards, follow the Hitmen Twitter and Facebook feeds and purchase tickets for games.

The app is now available for free from the iTunes store, Blackberry App World and Android Marketplace.
