Oilsands camp owner to usher in changes after bear cull

The company in charge of the northern Alberta work camp where four bears were shot and killed on Friday says changes are on the way to repel wildlife.
A spokesperson for Devon Canada tells The Calgary Sun they’ll consider electrified fences to minimize human-bear interaction, although she says you can’t always prepare for wildlife encounters.
Workers who filmed a wildlife officer killing a black bear and her cubs blame the company for not doing more to keep bruins from entering the camp.
