U.S. Senator supports Keystone pipeline

A senator from South Carolina has come out in support of the Keystone XL pipeline, saying if the U.S. doesn’t approve it, it would be the biggest energy policy blunder in the country’s history.
Republican Lindsay Graham says if the pipeline is denied by U.S. President Barack Obama it would cost their country thousands of jobs and it would turn the pipeline into a defining issues in next year’s presidential election.
The Herald reports, Graham says Canada is going to sell this product, the question is whether they will sell it to us, or to China.
Graham declared the oilsands a national treasure during a visit to our province last year.
He has teamed with Texas Democrat Gene Green to rally congressional support for the 7 billion dollar controversial pipeline.
