Education funding priorities survey

While soon-to-be Premier Alison Redford tries to find the money to restore education funding, the Calgary Public School Board is already strategizing how they’ll spend the cash.
The CBE has launched an online survey asking what their spending priorities should be.
The board’s Richard Peter tells CityTV special needs funding, school maintenance and hiring more teachers are some of the options.
“Setting our priorities also includes a dialogue with the community to say, ‘How would you set them?'” he says.
More than 2,000 people have already logged on to the CBE website to fill out the survey.
