Mayor surprised by bike lane pilot project

In what the mayor is calling a “surprise project”, the four lanes of 10th St. Northwest have been reduced to three, and a new bike lane has been designated.
Naheed Nenshi tells The Calgary Sun he was unaware of the pilot project, and only a few people apparently knew about it before it was implemented.
He says the move by the city roads department is problematic and confusing, and that it can be changed if it doesn’t work well.
