Keystone XL Pipeline controversy far from over

Hearings on the Keystone XL Pipeline have wrapped up in Washington, D.C. but the controversy continues.
Those both supporting and opposing the TransCanada pipeline turned out in full force to express their positions Friday.
Greenpeace executive director Philip Radford, say his organization is opposed to the building of the pipeline.
“It’s one of the major causes or could be one of the major causes of global warming,” Radford says.
The U.S. State Department will decide whether to approve the project by the end of the year.
The proposed 2700 KM pipeline would carry crude from Alberta’s oilsands to Texas.
