The Mustard Seed expects to serve around 400-500 traditional Thanksgiving dinners on Sunday night.
Alyssa Burnham with the Mustard Seed tells 660News they will be cooking “Over 400 pounds of turkey, 100 pounds of potatoes, five cases of vegetables and 50 pumpkin pies.”
Each Thanksgiving meal will be served on a placemat with words of love and encouragement written for The Mustard Seed’s homeless guests by the donors who made the feast possible.
Thanksgiving dinner at The Mustard Seed takes place on Sunday October 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Mustard Seed Shelter.
