Starting Tuesday, drivers will notice a change in traffic flow at 14th Street and 10th Avenue Southwest.
A newly installed traffic signal will be activated at the intersection, providing an East/West connection in and out of the downtown core.
Joe Olson, a senior transportation engineer, says the improvement will increase access for future development along 10th.
The city adds, opening this intersection will provide another access to the new Sunalta C-Train station when the west leg of the LRT opens.
