Homeless Awareness Week kick off

Thanksgiving marks the kickoff to a charity event in its 15th year in our city.

Monday is the start of Homeless Awareness Week.

Executive Director of Homeless Awareness Calgary, Bonnie Malach, says they’ll be holding a Thanksgiving feast at the First Baptist Church on 4th Street SW.

The week long event is trying to draw awareness to the ongoing problem in our city, where a third of all homeless Albertans live.
