Smoke on LRT

Six people were forced off the CTrain early Wednesday morning after reports of smoke coming from the on-board cabin heating unit.

Fire crews arrived to the powered down train at Centre St. and 7th Ave. South at around 1 a.m.

Crews were able to move the train to a maintenance facility to get fixed causing only minor service interruptions.

No one was hurt.
