Final arguments are underway at the Bolsa murder trial, where alleged gang members Nathan Zuccherato and Michael Roberto stand charged with three counts each of first degree murder.
Prosecutor Shane Parker told the jury the Crown’s theory is that the murders were both the execution of a plan and a planned execution, with victim Sanjeev Mann the focus of a targeted attack.
He asked the jury to consider all evidence independent of witness testimony, but also pointed out that evidence given by police informant “MM” is the central focus of the crown’s argument.
“MM” was given immunity from prosecution for acting as a lookout for the shooters.
Parker referred to the witnesses criminal record, drug use and association with known criminals, telling the jury, “the defence will tell you, he lied.”
