LRT stabbing in southwest

Calgary police continue to investigate a robbery and stabbing on the LRT.
Just after 1 a.m., four men confronted a young adult on the CTrain along 7th Ave. near 8th St. Southwest.
The victim was stabbed several times.
“The offenders attempted to rob the victim of his wallet, the victim resisted, and that’s what he got for his efforts,” said Duty Insp. Paul Stacey.
Stacey said with the help of transit police, they managed to round up those responsible and charges are pending.
The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
