Alberta’s new human services minister is ruling out quick privatization of certain government services.
Dave Hancock says it’s too early to set any timelines.
During the Tory leadership campaign, Premier Alison Redford promised program reviews, and possibly amalgamating Children and Family Services with other
ministries.
Hancock tells The Calgary Herald the government must first figure out how to make progams work together, before putting them in private hands.
