Calgary police say a man was shot in the Applewood area in Calgary’s southeast Saturday night but they need help pinning down exactly where it happened.
A 27 year-old man is being treated at the Peter Lougheed Hospital after being shot in the thigh.
Calgary Police Duty Inspector Craig Skelton tells 660News someone dropped the victim off at the hospital around 9 o’clock Saturday night.
“He was driven to the hospital by an associate in a black-coloured Jeep. That Jeep was located outside of the emergency department with what appears to be a bullet hole in the windshield,” says Skelton.
Skelton says investigators hadn’t had a chance to talk to the victim but hoped to do that as soon as he was able on Sunday morning.
