New version of YYC housing website coming

Developers and builders are getting a new website with a rundown of council’s decisions affecting Calgary’s housing industry.

Votecalgary.ca was first launched after the 2010 civic election, but an updated version of the advocacy site will launch Tuesday.

The Canadian Homebuilder’s Association tells The Calgary Sun the site features issues affecting over 28,000 members employed in the residential construction industry so they can cast an informed vote.

One new feature called “Eye on Council” displays a voting history for each alderman.
