Occupy Calgary protesters are waking up in Olympic Plaza Monday morning after the city allowed them to stay following their protest over the weekend.
Peaceful protesters camped out at parks or central squares in many Canadian cities in a growing movement to decry corporate greed and social inequality.
In Toronto, marches on Bay Street and at Ryerson University will extend to the start of the trading week.
Meanwhile, the movement that inspired the Canadian demonstrations, Occupy Wall Street, is one-month-old and has so far generated $300,000 in donations.
