Canadians still planning vacations

A little economic uncertainty isn’t enough to stop Canadians from planning to escape the falling mercury.
According to a new survey for BMO, 61 per cent of Canadians will take a fall or winter holiday this year, compared with 79 per cent who took some time off during the summer.
Respondents say economic volatility hasn’t impacted their vacation plans.
The survey also found one in five is taking advantage of a strong Canadian dollar to travel outside Canada.
The survey also finds the younger you are, the more likely you are to travel outside of the country.
